If you are going to take the time to pin, let your pins work for you, not against you. It may take an extra minute to pin this way but when you get to your machine the stitching line is already marked and easy to follow! Plus, your brain starts to fill in the gaps between the pins to complete the line and your eyes get used to following those visual pin cues as you sew. How neat is that!
